What are your favorite quotations, sayings, passages? The philosophies on life that drive you, the anecdotes that inspire you? I'd love to hear from you!

The second one is ( Though my sould shall set in darkness it shall rise in perfect light. I have loved the stars to dearly to be fearfull of the night).

One of my favourite quotations is taken from Gen. Douglas McArthur of WW 2 fame: "Live every day as if it were your last day on earth, for one day you will be right".
Another one comes from the Rosicrucian Order : "Everyone would live forever, but no-one would grow old".
Taken each in its stride, they give alternate perspectives on this exciting adventure called Life, with its bright and dark spaces, its joys and sorrows, its ups and downs.

I love this one. " You are who you decide to be, not who other people decide for you to be" unknown author.

And I love it too, thanks! It's a philosophy I have of late, decided to incorporate into my psyche.

The blind can see, where those who see are blind. For the eyes can be deceived, where the blind see the truth.
This depicts how our vision on the world can be skewed, so we need to see as the blind do, or see past just what is on the surface.
