Annoying Internet Commercials

Is anyone else getting annoyed at these invasive internet commercials? By invasive I mean the kind that expand when you scroll over them or periodically cover part of the page, etc. A lot do some kind of cool animation that is completely lost on me because I get ticked that it's covering the site I'm trying to view. So, anyone else hate these things or am I overreacting? Does it seem a little desperate to you?
