We always buy a kind of water to drive away mosquitoes in summer. As explained in dictionary'a perfumed liquid lighter than cologn',this kind of water is of pleasant smelling ,colorless or in ligh blue.It is used by covering it all through our outside body.Mosquitoes hate the smell and fly away. On my first view of the explanation on the package'toilet water',I was shocked,as the word 'toilet',you know, is not supposed to be a very clean place. I don't konw how this phrase come.

I think it is derived from the French word for perfume. I don't know any French,
but one of the words sounds like "toilet" eu du toilete.

Where I live toilet water is just a very light cologne any color. I have never heard it used to ward off bugs, if anything the sweet small will draw them. Yes it is odd the name they came, with who knows why?
