Some institutions/corporates/hnv used to offer scholarship for students' study. The scholarship may be offered taking into account marks obtained or status in the society by the students. Have you ever got a scholarship for anything in your life, or your children or relative or friend?

I got scholarship for first graduation in my family. It is one type to encourage students and parents for motivating studies. Scholarship is necessary for students to proceed their education and higher studies. It will help them some part.

nope, never once got a scholarship, and neither have my kids. it must be a nice feeling being a scholar--all you have to do is study and not worry about money to pay tuition fees with. I wasn't very smart. And I had lots of failed grades in college, about 50 failed classcards.

hi snakequeen.
i was a scholar durimg my college years. my parents didn't have to spend so much for my tuition fees and school expenses. it was really great being a scholar, maintaining the grades wasn't that hard. i was still able to enjoy my college life very much.
if it's within the student's capabilities to avail of a scholarship, i'd highly suggest that he does so. it will be a great help to one's parents if the scholarship is maintained.

I got a full scholarship in high school for maintaining good grades and I was very proud of it. It's a sort of accomplishment that makes you a better student or a better person. I also had a scholarship during college but I only had it for a year. I wasn't able to maintain my grades, although I did my best. Just that my best wasn't enough to maintain the scholarship, but I have no regrets about it. It was frustrating at first but eventually, I learned to accept it and be grateful still for maintaining good academic records.
To compensate for the scholarship that I lost, I made it a point to finish my degree ahead to time. It took me 4 1/2 years to finish my degree ( a 5 year degree course). So that's still an achievement for me that I consider, and it became an edge for me when I applied for a job.
Have a great day snakequeen!

i very much remember the great feeling i had when all of a sudden my name was announced in the morning assembly. it was for the best student! keeping in view the overall rating as a student in the previous year. it was a reward for me.
