is future predictable?

i have seen many people glued to the tv sets and listening to the predictions being told by the astrologer. or reading that page from the newspaper and they start believing every word of it. how would you feel and react if your future is predicted and told to you.

yes juhi, to me future is predictable. our future is like on of our very close friends standing on a busy railway platform and trying to tell you something. you can read his or her lips to some extent but you are not sure. in the same way, our future has something in hold for us but we are not very sure what it is. the astrologers and other learned experts of that field do work up these things by basing them on the basics of arithmetic and trigonometry, by studying the planet positions. so for me, it is predictable to some extent.i would definitely relish to be told about my future. come on, tell me who wants unnecessary adventures in life. ever one wants it placid and smooth sailing.

thanks painkiller for responding to this discussion. yes i do believe the same way.i even say that we are born to a particular set of parents to perform certain unfinished actions of our previous birth. and we perform according to the set rather preset instructions fed into our genes.

something is always predestined and premeditated. this we refer to as destiny. you should accept and take it as life gives it to you. every time cannot be same. change is the only thing which is permanent. happy my lotting.

Well i dont believe in all such things. I think its just a waste of time and money. If you know your future then you might stop working and wait for things to happen. But the world is not that way. I feel you need to take all the good things from the astrologer and just ignore other things.

what a wrong notion vinay. if you are working hard on some thing and you are confident of your result , i say you know your future and in case you leave and do not do your hard work and expect the result still, i hope you know your future. true that it depends on your hard work and by prediction you know whether you will be able to get the things done you can work in that direction. it is like this before digging the well if you know whether you are going to get water or oil you can dig for whatever you need according to your need.

Even though you work hard and hopeful of the outcome still you will not know your future. Future is unpredictalbe. We need to take the things as they come by in life. I hope you got my point.

Lots of people watch shows/news that deals with the prediction of future on TV or newspaper. Personally I wouldn't want to know what my future even if they can predict the future because if I know what would happens then my joys will vanish as I would know what's gonna transpire in future. I also believe that predicting the future is kinda of impossible thing but there are people that use tarot reading and other stuff to find out their future.

yes very much correct to the seconds.but it is all very complex calculations. and many a people are able to do it correctly. predict the things in advance, not only for the individual but for the humanity also

no its not...life is what you make it,its not what is it to be...If that astrologer or anyone who said what's gonna happen,I won't believe it unless it happens...
Some of them may tell you your past, but no one knows your future but you,yourself alone....coz we are the ones responsible for our actions...so,we are the ones who can make our future..and nobody else can...

I dont believe in all such things. I think its just a waste of time and money. If you know your future then you might stop working and wait for things to happen. But the world is not that way. I feel it should be just a time pass to read astrology column in newspaper and nothing more than that.

Is it a prediction or reality. There are times when I read them and it says some thing that happen exactly. I love to read them. I would say that they are predicting my future. Remember that your destiny lays in your hands.

welcome to my discussion dear cutie. ignorance of law is no excuse.you still get punished for the wrong you do. similarly whether you believe or not god exists. so you always get what is in store for you whether you know the prediction or not.actually there are many who can predict your next birth even
