do you have any ways on how to lose pounds easily? im very much anxious about my weight and i really want to lose some of it.. can you help me? can you suggest me some ways to lose some pounds?

There are ways to lose pounds easily, but most of them, if not all, are not healthy. Check out one of my discussions. Manage your metabolism. This will help you lose and maintain your weight effectively. Divide your 3 meals into separate small meals a day. Then, balance out your meals. Take carbohydrates, proteins, fruits and vegetables for fiber. Then, take note of your calorie intake and calorie needs per day. To lose more lbs, lessen your calorie intake by a small amount than what you need. Don't go over 100 calorie deficit though, you'll need all the calories you can get for the most important step, which is next. Now, this is the hardest part, exercising. Aerobics is fine but do this just around once or twice a week. The most important things are anaerobic exercises and, guess what, weight training. Yes. You need muscles to burn calories faster, thus reducing risk of food being stored as fat. Don't be afraid to train your muscles, you won't look like Chyna. . Just lean muscles. When you do aerobics, you burn calories but when you rest, your metabolism will slow down. With weight training, you will maintain metabolism way longer. You can rest even 3 or 4 days after a weight workout. Your metabolism will still be high. You will lose those pounds. Finally, whew, Know the reason why you want to lose weight. Is it to look good or feel good? There a bit of a difference there. That is where your motivation comes from. Keep it high and not only will you lose weight but you can maintain it.

No problem at all! Well, I just wanted to share. I've been battling weight for 10 years. I thought I almost did it 6 years ago. But it didn't. I lost more than 90 lbs and I got worse. Yeah, metabolism is one of the primary keys in losing weight. Try lifting weights a bit. It might help. If you got sore muscles a few hours after or when you wake up the next day, that is a good sign.

thank you very much for your reply! it is very comprehensive and very informative.. you know what, i realized something while i was reading your post.. i realized that the main problem with me is that i have a very slow metabolism, that's why i gain weight so easily and lose weight the hard way.. i eat little amount of food but im really getting bigger and bigger, even i do a lot of exercise.. maybe there's something wrong with my system.. but anyway, thank you for replying to my discussion!

for my muscle training, I search for pilates videos on youtube and the next day my abs and thighs are VERY sore! I also do calorie counting and I notice the difference almost immediately in how I feel. Also, I am very active. I go to a show every monday night for the past month where there's no AC (and this is Texas) and it's very crowded and we sweat and sweat and sweat! Sweating, Building Muscle, and eating less calories and what I think are key. Good luck and if you find anything new let me know!

it might be easy to say for me, but i got a hard time doing it. i cant control myself anymore once im already seated in the dining table. i cant control myself on the amount of food that il eat. i cant control what are the foods to be eaten. much to say about self discipline, and i dont have that. :(

turn to the doctors? hmmm.. for me, medical intervention would be my ver very last resort for losing some pounds.. haha! lol.. i mean, i would do everything on my won to lose some pounds, and the chance of turning to doctors is still to be negotiated.. there's a lost of risks involved with that..

Hi If you want to lose weight you have to do three things simulataneously. You have to reduce fat and high calorie food items from your diet and include more vegetables and fruits. Do exercises. I mean any type of exercise that you like. You can do aerobics or yoga. The best one is walking. Just walk for half an hour daily. If you can not spare half an hour continuously then walk when ever is possible. or climb stairs instead of using elevators and lifts. Drink more water. Drik atleast 10 glasses of pure water daily.

i slightly do the things you enumerated. but i think the problem with me is that i dont take it seriously. but thanks for your ideas. it might help me one day if i decided to pursue dieting. thanks and happy posting!

hey i have tried and its working its like this, tr to avoid all spices for a month, just steamed food which includes, no fast food, no sweets etc. only steamed food at home, u can loose a lot of pounds, but you should have the mind strneght to do it

thanks for all your replies! as much as i want to try lifts, i cant.. i go to ward duty everyday and then study after a 7-3 shift.. if i do lifts, i might not be able to move my body anymore.. it would be so stressful for me to feel pain every time i move.. lol.. but anyway, thank you for the ideas you have given me.. i know someday it will help me!

The best way to lose weight that I could suggest you is walking. I have tried dieting, which really did not work. I have often realised that when I start going for walks, I definitely reduce. So you too may try it out.

the problem with it is that i dont have the time to do long walks.. im so busy with school and hospital duties.. the time left in a day i usually allot it for sleeping, making requirements, and going to school.. if i have extra time, that would take about an hour, maybe for just 30 minutes or so..

If you are kin on losing pounds, embark on icy drink-take icy drinks repeatedly, say a glass of water 6-9 glasses, one after another in reasonanble intervals, firstly ice will reduce your hunger potential, and make you not eat so often, then combine this with low fat foods and do some good exercises-you will notice a dramatic reduction in weight

Being more physically active will help you loose weight in combination with a healthy diet. Don't skip meals but make sure to stop eating once you aren't really hungry anymore. A lot of people eat because they like the taste of food but aren't actually hunfy at that time, this is what puts weight on along with unhealthy foods with lots of sugar and calories. Skipping to light soda or no sodas at all will help, drinking lots of water to keep the digestion going and give you a more full feeling over the day. Working out on a crosstrainer does wonders for both your condition and loosing weight as well, they can be bought at a fair price second hand or you can join the gym. It's a total body work out and you can listen to your favourite music while doing it; it's a bit like a cross between running and walking up stairs.

i can only suggest you to drink more water as it will help aid you in your digestion. aslo, walk more that usual if you cannot do exercises. walking is good for you.

hi chiyosan! thanks also for your reply.. yeah i think ill gonna start drink plenty of water.. that's what my mom and my little sister are doing since they are encouraging my little sister to lose some pounds too.. my mom always tells us to drink a lot of water, and i guess this time ill listen to her.. lol
