What is better decision prepaid or postpaid mobile line? Competition with local network company in terms of cellphone line is stiff. So what is better prepaid or post paid?

I rather use prepaid because i can control my usage. Fi i use postpaid, there's a chance that i can overuse and ended up with a hefty bill. And thats Bad.

Since I call a lot I use postpaid. That way it becomes cheaper. And moreover I travel a lot, so STD calls are cheaper with postpaid. But I think it depends what you do.

I have a post paid contract. I have to pay £30 a week regardless of if I use my phone at all, but if I go over my minutes or texts then I have to pay more than the £30 at the end of the month. I prefer this to being cut off once I have reached my limit, because if I had an important call to make then I would stranded and have to use a payphone, which would cost more money. I can check my minutes and texts through the month and budget what I am going to use to avoid going over, so racking up huge phone bills is not likely to happen.

it depends on your budget. it's much better to have a prepaid if you have budget constraints so that you may be able to plan and control you usage. however, if you are the type of person who needs to use your cellphone most of the time due to important reasons such as work, post paid is much better to avoid hassles. post paid is much better as well if it's being paid by your company (",)

Definitley a contract because with prepaid, which my boyfriend used to have, winds up costing you so much money. With a contract, even though it is an added expense each month and maybe a little costly, in the long run you wind up spending more by constantly having to refill te prepaid.

H3ello,cheri! I always prefer a prepaid cell phone connection as it is most convenient for me.you can get a pre paid voucher for one month, two months, five months or even for a year.there will be no botheration for the whole period and thereby you can control your expenditure on phone.thanx.

i like to use prepaid only otherwise my bill will be sky high i cannot control the calls and i will call others even for silly things and that is why i prefer to choose prepaid.

I always wanted to have a postpaid plan. You are not limited in your talking time and chat with friends and family. But it is more expensive in the end. And the fact is that you have to pay for what you have contracted with the company, every month, whether you like it or not. While in prepaid, you buy loads whenever you want it or when you have a little budget, you are not forced if you are unable...

hi cheri_janine, I have been a postpaid subscriber to more than 5 years now and I find it more economical than having a prepaid subscription. Besides, I get a free cellphone every time I renew my subscriptions with the mobile provider. So I think it is better you avail of the postpaid subscription. Call and sms rates are cheaper too.
Have a great day!

Actually the decision would depend on how frequent your cellphone usage is.If you are frequently calling your family, friends or relatives then it makes sense to go in for a PostPaid as a PrePaid would work out to be costlier.Whereas if your usage is restricted to just receiving calls then a PrePaid is enough.
