Hi mylotters!I told my mum about mylot and i wanted her to join but she thought that mylot has a lot of young and unmarried people.So,she doesn't want to join.Could you guys help me by just replying this post and telling me your age and your status.Are you married or not.Hope to hear a post from you guys.Cheers.

i am 22 y/o and single..i don't think age matters here in mylot..i know a lot who is married and has a kid already here in mylot.

Hi kaezy!I've told my mum that but she doesn't believe me.She's reluctant to join.Im doing this survey to show her how many people have the same age as her age.Thanks for the post.

yes i m 26 not married, i also agree with Kaezy_kulet. i think your mom think that youngsters always do wrong thing or something like that. i don't know what is the region behind it. it can increase the gape between us. we can be good in discussion, sharing thoughts. i want to tell something for your mother,, your most welcome..

Hi Taquinaka, I am 45 and am a single parent of three children 21, 17 and four. I love it here and I am sure your mum will too. The great thing about myLot is that there are people of all ages and from all sorts of background and countries so she will never feel she is too old bless. I know lots of very happily married friends on here they may also be in her age group. Tell Ellie said to join she will have so much fun and she will be helping her daughter as your referral eh! Oh I am sure you will manage to persuade her and yes she will be able to make many new friends, I have and they have been winderful and very supportive too. Feel free to get her to request me as one when she registers so that I can welcome her. Yes you are younger than my eldest daughter but having children this age I can usually relate to a lot of the subject matter in younger peoples discussions too. Hi ellie.That is what i've told her!Wow.21?That's older than me!LOL.Im only 19.I would be happy if she joins mylot.Not only she can be my referral but at the same time she can meet new friends.Hope i'll succeed in persuading her to join mylot.

Well I'm over 50, but young at heart! LOL
Tell your mother there are a lot of people her age here and it won't take long for her to make friends. This is the kind of site where it really doesn't matter what your age is. You can find lots of posts to relate to and comment on. We don't really think about age here. We make friends and it goes from there.
Tell your mom, this is NOT like myspace or facebook or any of those other 'young' sites. Mylot is unique and we will make sure that she is made welcome and has a good experience here. Good luck getting her to join taqinaka.

Hello spark!Wow.50!LOL.Nice meeting you maam!Hehehe.I really agree with you and the people that posted here.They said to me the same thing as you and i feel the same too.Beside,mylot helps me improve my English drasticly!Maybe some of my spelling is not correct but im learning.I will keep persuading her to join mylot.I'll tell her to add you as a friend when she join mylot okie spark?Nice to meet you again.Cheers.

LOL yes 33. Haven't been 20 for a long time. But, really I am not that old I still have a 4 year old running around keeping me young.

I am 26 and still unmarried as i have told u earlier. But still i am ready to mingle lol. There are lots of people here who are older than 40 yeras and even more than 50 yeras so u need not to worry u will get lots and lots of people of your mother age.

I think the majority of people that use Mylot are stay-at-home moms, people on disability, and just generally older people with time to spare. Although there is a decent crowd, the majority of people that actually have time for sites like this are the older ones! That's just my personal opinion though, I could be wrong!

You didn't mention how old your mother actually is. I'm 54 and a grandmother to nine. I'm having a great time. I've started a few discussions and was surprised to see a number of people 40+ and 50+ reply. Tell your mom there are a lot of us here. Besides age has nothing to do with it. If you have something to say, this is the place to be.

Hello judith.Thanks for the post.Well,my mother is 42.Yeah.There are a lot of people around 40 and 50 above.I'm quite surprise.Mylot is like myspace,only better.Age is not a factor to be friends with anyone and i like it.Discussion helps improve my English as well.LOL.By the way,grandmother to nine grandchildren?Wow!You're only 54.Cheers.
