I make sure that I buy good quality shoes so that I get to use them for at least 1 whole year. I have at least 2 shoes that I alternately use for the whole year or even longer than that.

My husband thinks that I buy new shoes every time I turn around, and I NEVER get rid of old ones. Dress shoes are lovingly cared for. Thus, they last forever. Sneakers are worn a season or two and then, discarded or delegated to the back porch to be used for yard and garden work.

I haven't bought one lately but I guess I don't stick as to when I will buy. I'm more on buying when there are new stocks and new designs available.

I buy shoes every time I go to the store. I seem to collect them. My daughter loves them. We never leave the store with out a pair of shoes for her or I. I have a whole closet full. When we do spring cleaning we give then ones we dont wear to charity.

I usually buy a new pair of sneakers once a year, give or take a few months. Dress shoes last longer.

I don't really plan on when to buy shoes. I usually buy them when there's a sale. However, when it comes to rubber shoes, I try to buy a new one after 2-3 years. Lately, I've been using my shoes for exercising in the gym only, so it gets worn out less. I think it'll last for 4 years, but I might still change if in a few years.
