COMIC BOOKS vs MANGA

Ok, comic books have been around a lot longer than manga. Right? Years ago, kids, teens, and yes- some adults would be spending their money on the latest adventure of their favorite superhero. Nowadays from my perspective, , more people are in the LARGE manga aisle and less people on the SMALL comic book rack. Do u notice this too? Why do YOU think it is???

Hie Micpie, that's true, all are looking to the east and find it fascinating.
My brother in his forties now is still keeping his collection of superheroes
( Marvel )and artistic value of it is different from the Manga nowadays.
They hardly could find those artist anymore to create good comics and it is no longer that exciting anymore.
People want something new, fresh and high tech themed.
Now with the sophisticated high technology gadgets/tools has made things much easier and possible than the old days.
And the availability of this and culture of the society has influenced and inspired a lot of the younger generations over there to be more creative and productive.
It will be here for sometime and I believe perhaps we could even surf Manga like E-book.

lol..no time to catch but my nephews I think they were interested with Dragonball when younger, Alchemist...something like and the latest for sure. You will find a lot of Manga fans here I am sure.

maybe it's because of heavy influences from japanese culture. a lot of people are into japanese culture nowadays, and maybe they're picking up the manga phenomenon. also, it may be bacause of a large number of asian migration to western countries. it might probably have an effect.
