yoga for weight loss

hi! i am very interested in taking yoga for weight loss and also for de-stressing. is anybody active in yoga classes here? i have seen the different types of yoga and am wondering which class i should enroll in. thanks!

I suggest you to enroll for it to increase your mental stamina and have fit toned body.
Yoga for weight loss is a very gentle way to stretch and tone the body and makes it suppler again. Yoga might not be the best option exercise-wise if you want to lose weight quickly and mainly through excercising, but yoga can help you on your way to a slimmer and more toned body.
Yoga does burn less calories than other sports such as jogging or swimming, unless you practise few power yoga. However, yoga should be practised within a certain frame of mind.
To lose weight, it is important to do so, not just by doing diets, or exercise programs, which are too tedious, which may yield results but which do not keep you that way. Sometimes after sudden loss of weight the skin sags making one feel worse. The best approach is to lose weight gradually and for good. Yoga offers a good solution to this problem.
