Have you noticed that someitmes after hearing a song played on the radio you seem to be repeating the song in your mind and even singing it to yourself again and again. But the funny thing is that you are doing the last song you've heard making it "THE LAST SONG SYNDROME" a connotation me and my friends call it in our country.
Have you noticed it? Or is it only us, that are guilty of doing that? Please let me know if you are experiencing this syndrome too. Thank you so much

LSS, as it is commonly called here. Yeah, I believe everyone does. Like when I go to sleep, i listen to the radio for awhile then i hit the hay. After some time, the last song you've heard will ring your ears. It's crazy lol.

I did experience that and I know I'll be experiencing it soon. I love to sing especially when I have nothing to do. Actually while I am on a wait for a jeep, I usually sing and repeating that song until I get a ride.

I always experienced that Jhordie. I guess this is common to everyone, LOL! Like when I called up a friend and hear his/her ringing tone/waiting tone, I will end up humming/singing the same song throughout the day or even up to the next day!

Oh my goodness, yes. And I find myself vulnerable to it when my mind is clear and I'm not thinking about anything. My most noticeable place is at the mall, SM to be exact, when I am just strolling and/or buying groceries and I hear a jingle or a song. I'll suddenly start humming and sing it very softly. Even until I get home.
Commercials are one to apply as well. "I remember, yesterday, the world was so young". It sang that for a few days while dancing. There are a few more LSS occurrences. I can't remember some of 'em though. see 'ya!

oooohhhh yeah, it is SM jingle including the "because at sm... because at sm..." with a deep stress on the words. I had an unusually tough time with that.
Oh, and another one would be Enchanted Kingdom. Can't get it out of my head especially after the fireworks.

yeah what you say is true. but then there is another thing also. only if you find the last song played to be worth humming you do otherwise you will never sing along with one. I think it has got something to do with our subconcious state that we keep humming the last favorite song that was played.

I am most often a victim of that also. When I heard a familiar song and that was the last music that I hear it usually sticks to my mind even though I have not heard it for a long time. Instinctively when I want to whistle or hum a song the first tone that comes out is the last one I heard. Really amazing right.

Last song syndrome... Hehe. I know how that feels! Sometimes it just absolutely drives me up the wall because there are songs that I just don't know how to sing. Lol. This happens a lot of times to my friends and I. We laugh about it especially if the song that someone is singing is something that she doesn't like.

well i have to admit that i'm guilty of that. right now, a song is playing over and over again in my mind. that was the song that my sister is playing when i woke up. it's a cantonese song by a hong kong singer. the singer happens to be one of my favourite. so the song keep playing in my mind while i was showering, drinking my coffee and surfing the internet. hmm, 'the last song syndrome' sounds like an apt name for this. wonder how long this song will remain in my head before another song replaces it. lol

Yea,I have experienced this "syndrome" a very lot of times,In fact I must say every time I listen to a song!
Some times,it would get too much and you would get annoyed with yourself.I think I mostly experience this after listening to a song,if I have nothing else to do and I am idle.Yea,I think most people experience this type of things.
Cheers! Have a fine day
Happy mylotting and happy earnings.

Oh yes i sure get THAT syndrome often - especially from movies i really like (like disney's films ). I think if you like music you can't avoid that syndrome no matter where you are from.
Take care friend - and if you feel like perhaps you'd like to give a glance to the topic about romance, i would love to hear your opinion about it

Sometimes I have the same thing, but few times this one "last song" wasn't last I've heared at all. So I don't know how much of it is really true. Cheers and happy last song syndrome ^^.
