Speech Therapy Help

My five year old son just started speech therapy this March. Unfortunately, the therapy runs with the school year, so he will end the therapy he just started in March and not resume again until the beginning of the school year in September. I met with the school board to see if he could qualify for continued therapy through out the summer. They told me he doesn't qualify. To qualify, the child needs to show regression?? My child has not shown regression but he has shown no improvement either. I am taking matters into my own hands now. Can anyone please give me advice on how to find exercises or activities that I can do with my son over the summer to help with the speech therapy? Any feedback is much appreciated :)

I have no advice but I just wanted to say good on you for taking matters into your own hands! Not only will you get to spend some one-on-one time with your son, but you'll also be helping him out. I know when I was little, I was a big stutterer/lisper and my mom had videos that she worked with me on. I don't remember the name, but that was fifteen years ago so I'd think they'd still have them. Maybe your pediatrician can suggest something?

Thanks for your response! I did plan on speaking with his pediatrician about it. I'm also going to keep looking online:)
