I am in my mid 40s but I still find it fun and educational to surf the internet? When did you learn to surf the net? What was your age then

I was pretty young when I learnt to use the internet. I'm only 19 now but for as long as I could remember we had a computer in our house. I know that I have been using MSN messenger (like a 2.0 version!) when I was 11 so I'm guessing about that age was when I first started learning how to use it.

Abarrojr,
I was 45 years old when I first started using the computer and internet. That was back in the first part of 2000. I'm 54 now and I'm still using both.
It has been a fun and educational experience for me. I must say, though, that when I first started using both, that it was rather intimidating because I had NO EARTHLY IDEA what I was doing. Now, I'm pretty comfortable using both.
The fun part comes when I go to myspace and keep in touch with my family and keep up with the careers of a few of my favorite music artists. I also like to come to mylot and participate in the discussions such as this one...it shows me that other people experience much of the same things that I do. I like to go into my regular chatroom, too, because I get to talk to people from all over the world.
Educationally, the internet is a good tool to do some research on so many things. I've been able to learn about a few health issues that I and members of my family have had. I also like to just read about up to date stuff on different things.
Hopefully, I'll still be able to use a computer and the internet for many more years to come. :-)

Well, I kind of learned in 2004.. This was the year that I first bought my computer that I am on now. I am still learning new things as days go by.. I want to learn more things. I have had a book on helping a person learn how to do many techniques on a computer. I accidentally threw this away.. I am planning on buying me a book that tells a newbie many things about learning on a computer.

I started using the Internet back when it started going, but then my dad worked as a computer programmer so I was on computers at the office where he worked even before there were home computers for people to use. My dad got us kids a home computer back when they first came out and I've been a computer brat ever since. ;-)

I can honestly say that I don't remember how old I was. I was in grade school though. When the internet started to take lift off. Within the first 6 months of the internet going full force in the world we got one in our home. And we have had one ever since.
