Your most treasured book

My most treasured book is a copy of The Secret Garden that I received when I was young. It is a hard covered copy with a few pictures scattered throughout. It is still one of my all time favourite stories and I can hardly wait until my daughter is old enough for me to read it to her.

My most treasured book is one I bought for my son eighteen years ago. "The NUrsery collection" It is worn and tattered and well read by all of my kids and to all of the kids. It sits in a place of honour waiting for the furture grandkids to enjoy. I think nursery rhymes really started my kids off in the right direction of appreciated books and reading. I also think it helped with their ability to respect music , song, poems, rhythm.
