what does God look like to you?

one day in my thoughts, i walk with you hand in hand, you said there are things that you just didn't understand. how high is the sky...what makes it blue?...and you just said to me what does God look like to you? and i said: he looks like a rainbow just after the rain. he is as golden as a wick dancing over the flame. he looks like a star when the night's crytal clear. he looks like a baby when mother is near. his face is like the moonlight, reflected on the snow. his hair is like a garden where all flowers grow. his heavenly eyes are as calm as the sea. you see that's what really God looks like to me...his heart is like a mountain so vast and so strong. that's why all his children have room to belong. his smile is the morning to you, are awaken to see. and most of all friends like you are what God looks like to me...

Wonderful description of God!
The bible says He called Himself IAM
Meaning He is whatever good you can think and imagine!
He is a Saviour in times of Danger
He is a healer when you are sick
He is the source of my Prosperity when satan says I have none!
I mean to put Him is picture is to eventually shut down your power for even that source belongs to Him alone

hello there,
such a wonderful question indeed.
what is God looks like to me...
it is like the morning sky,
the smile of a child,
the happy face of that person i see outside my window,
the playing cat and dog
the lady who wave at me while i am driving,
the green plant next to me
the fragrant flower i have in my backyard
the rainbow i saw yesterday on my way home.
and so many things be it tangible or not.
God is everywhere, even when i close my eyes He is there looking after me and you.
He gives me peace of mind and that is what He is to me.
the form of peace and love that i am enjoying every single day of my life.
God is in every form, we dont have to have a reflection or sample of him coz it is in our hearts.

In my point of view The God has many forms. Even in Christianity God has three major forms. Father (Creator), Son and the Holy Spirit. 2000 years ego he became a perfect human being (Jesus)and set an example how we should live. Now he is everywhere as the Holy Spirit. He is living in all human beings and the animals but people don't recognize it.

The Earth in the summer and winter...all seasons....people who help others....
To me God is a spirit and truth and God is in everyone....no matter what deity you identify with it is the truth of knowledge and purity of your soul.

God is a supreme power.God lays over his hand when ever i needs god looks me as well as this whole nature as his own children .he looks to me as acreator ,preserver as well as the destroyer of this human kind . when ever i feel depressed, lean then i know there is some power in this world who can sort out my problems . i am the firm believer. thanks brother for such a nice question
