im not sure children these days still watch transformers. if you ask those who born during the years of 1975 to 1980 you'll get a lot of responses. these are the generation that watched transformers. If you knew transformers back then you wouldnt be bored, it was big as bleach, naruto, avatar and other toons and anime these days. Very few really knew it is made in japan since all the characters were american or Caucasians and the setting was american inspired.

That's interesting that not many people knew about it. I personally knew about it. Same thing with Speed racer if I'm not mistaken but you know, I never watched speed racer (the cartoon) and have heard the movie did not live up to the hype. As for transformers, it surely lived up to the hype and is one of the best movies i had ever seen!

When I was a kid I used to watch Transformers-Robots In Disguise the cartoon show,and I loved that show,so yes I knew that they made the movie from that show,and I was glad they did,because it was an awesome movie too, and I hope they make a Transformers two.

Are you talking about G1 transformers? Or like an actual japanese show? Cus I used to watch G1. :)
