A group of students was asked to list what they thought were the Seven Wonders of the World. Though there was some disagreement, the following got the most votes:
1. Egypt's Great Pyramids
2. Taj Mahal
3. Grand Canyon
4. Panama Canal
5. Empire State Building
6. St. Peter's Basilica
7. China's Great Wall
While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one quiet student hadn't turned in her paper yet, so she asked the girl if she was having trouble with her list.
The girl replied, 'Yes, a little. I couldn't quite make up my mind because there were so many. ' The teacher said, "well, tell us what you have, and maybe we can help".
The girl hesitated, then read , I think the Seven Wonders of the World are:
1. to see
2. to taste
3. to touch
4. to hear
she hesitated a little, and then added,
5. to feel
6. to laugh
7 and to love
The room was so full of silence you could have heard a pin drop. Those things we overlook as simple and ordinary are truly wondrous.
Being happy does not mean every thing's perfect, it just means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections.

Hi lynn2457, what a great thought from the girl. Thank you for sharing the story. it's really truly that 7 things that the girl mentioned are the real 7 wonders of the world. Just imagine if we don't have one of that great 7 wonders. our life will not be completed although we have bunch of ten fold money. Your posting made me think how mercy the God is. He gives us everything, the 7 greatest wonder of the world. Thanks dear God for giving me them.

thank you. I enjoyed the story also, It is a gift to love and be loved, to share and to give, and to enjoy all that God gives us whether it is good or bad. He has given many wonderous things to us, and some things I feel I am guilty of I do not have time or make time to see the beauty of it, the stop and smell the roses, is for me.
