do you pray for your enemies?

I like to think that I do not have any real enemies, sure there are people that I pity for their awkwardness and selfish attitude.

hi dear u r a very nice person that is why u still pray good for ur enemies..i dont really waste my time remembering my enimies i just pray for my close ones and friends..i am being very honest so pls dont take it negatively..i dont pray bad or good for my enimies bcoz i actually care a damn about them..take care..

that's good not to hate your enemies. jesus told us to love even our enemies. it means we can have enemies but we cannot be others' enemy.

Yes, I pray for my enemies... I pray that they die soon! ha! ha! ha!, THAT'S ONLY A JOKE, please don't take seriously. Truth is that I do really pray for them because that is the commandment of God. And I also believe that God is blessing those who pray for their enemies because it shows humility of heart and obedience to His word.

hello, we are not different. i also pray for my enemy. i want to be my friends someday. and also i have some prayers which given to me by a faithealer....it was a latin word which makes enemy and those who angry with not to be mad at you anymore. but i keep it secret. because it is bless by my friend and reminds not to tell it to anyone. but it is best to pray the lords prayer, ...remember that sometimes we also commit sins and we ask the lord to forgive us as we forgive those who sins against us... it is clear that it is right to forgive so that we are also forgiven. do you know the lords prayer. many knows it.

Hello again Jhordie, I am happy that you are feeling well today and your burdens have been lifted by God. You did a wise thing by taking your burdens to the Lord and leaving them there. What more can we mere mortals do. Often our daily progress is mired down with mud and trials. We cannot struggle on alone without Him. I believe that in my heart and would profess it from the highest mountain with no fear of rebuke or shame. As for my enemies. I have very few of those. Recently I came upon a hostile person on MyLot who is not my enemy and will never be. But this person harrassed me so and I was perplexed at what I did to offend them. Unfortunately I got embroiled in their arguments and should not have done so. I'm not an argumentative person by nature. It's against my nature. But I did anyway. And, it ended up hurting me emotionally. It would have been so much wiser to turn the whole matter over to God on the first day that the trouble began. I cried and suffered with the hateful comments of this other person for a week, before praying for guidance and support. I received comfort and knowledge of how to handle the situation and did so immediately. He knew exactly what to do and how to make the issue resolve with no further stress. Oh, if only I had turned to him right away there would have been no tears. I prayed for them and for myself. I wish them no harm, only that they turn away and go on their own path to seek their own enlightenment and not bog me down in negativity. I don't think this other person is happy with their own negativity and perhaps accidentally hurt my feelings not thinking I would even know. But still I was hurt. I prayed for them sometimes that they will not feel bad at themselves or others and whatever is tormenting their heart would resolve and give them peace so they can share that peace with others. I have not heard from this other person since then. He opens the way. Does he not? I pray this way for all who cross my path, whether enemy or friend, brother or sister. Be well, Jhordie. Hi my dear Jhordie. I am happy that you feel better about what happened. To be honest, and I always am, I don't pray for my enemies or for someone that made bad things for me. When it happen I only ask God to do justice. Only once, and let it in the God's hands. And I ever could see Her justice. I never wish bad things for them and if them receive bad things it is what they deserve in God opinion. What go is what come in the universe law and if God does this law it is for teach all persons. Some enemies have seen the truth and becames if not friends at last not enemies any more. Have a nice day.

I do pray my enemies also jhordie but it doesnt mean Im the one ask sorry to them for doing bad things towards me.In my opinion its better to be alone than to have a bad companion.I can easily find anyway but I can't handle to keep my friends if they betrayed me,but yes I can forgive them no matter what.Im just a human being and nobodys perfect.

I always attend worship services every thursday and sunday. I usually pray for my family,relatives and special someone.In case that I have enemy I also consider him in my prayers.I pray that he/she would try not to be mad at me.

i dont have enemies. i pray for the people WHO KEEP ME AS THEIR ENEMY sometimes. i dont talk to them and i pray to God that He finds His way into their hearts because although they are keep me as their enemy i want the Lord to be part of thier lives so that they too can know His goodness and love. I think that we should not have enemies on earth and i know that there are people who hate us but that does not mean that you cant love them in return. do not keep them as your enemies although they keep you as theirs because our real enemy is the devil who is only here to decieve us because he wants nothing good for us.
