what to do if you are SO irritated with somebody?

hi! do you have any thoughts or suggestions on what i should do? i am so irritated with one of my classmates and he literally bugs me a lot and he's so talkative (unnecessary and annoying noise)in class. sometimes i really just can't stand him and i can't do anything about it 'coz i don't want to be rude. help! can you suggest anything on how you managed being irritated with a classmate, officemate, boss, roommate and others?

When I am irritated with someone, I simply ignore that person. The more I think about the person or the more that I see that person, I feel like hitting the person in the face. 
So the best thing I can do is to avoid that person. If I can't do that because we have to be in the same place for some reasons, I just pretend that he/she does not exist.
