I am not a gamer, so speed would not be on top of my list. The number 1 in my check list is price, beside with the rate processor speed is updating the fastest today will be slow six months from now. Like the the case of 64bit system, the software to utilize the speed improvement is very late.

I don't care about the speed till my computer can run all the games I like to play.

I would love to have new computer but I don't think that speed is the most important atribute of computer. I would rather say that it should be the most reliable and rather from the middle shelf if I can say so. The best computers are the expensive. Sometimes you can have only a little bit worse computer for a way smaller price. Cheers and happy myloting.

yes but i don't like to change my old computer because it was woking very good not giving me any trouble and any problem. my computer was in on for 24 hours but it cannot give me any problem. But Now a days coming the Sata cable HDD it was totally failed to work good. Many of my friends Harddisk are burned and Lost there data. So i think the old computers are best.
