Plasma or LCD

Hello friends, We already decided to purchase one Plasma or LCD TV. When I consulted with friends some says Plasma is better and some says LCD is Good. Finally I decided that I will come to a final decision after consulting my MyLot friends. Please advise which one I must purchase, Plasma or LCD. And I will appreciate if you offer your views of difference between Plasma and LCD TV.
