I had a sleepless night last night because my hubby was snoring so loud! I would elbow him to roll over and he would roll over and I would just start to dose off and he would start again. He could wake the dead! Do you snore? Do you have any Idea's on how to prevent it? I do not need any more sleepless nights. Do you think people snore more when they are heavy? He has gained some more weight lately. Snoring that loud he can not possiable be getting a good nights rest. What are your thoughts?

I know from experience snoring keeps you from getting the "good" sleep you need to be rested. I went to an ENT and she said I had a deviated septum which affected my sleep. So after a really crappy sleep test, I finally had a septoplasty and tonsillectomy, which helped my sleep. But now I have problems sleeping again. Also I know that heavier people tend to have sleep apnea, which can be fixed with a sleeping apparatus. You can also try those nasal strip things, they help my mom. Good luck!
Or just make him sleep on the couch. :)

Take him to the doctor! Even if he doesn't have sleep apnea or some other sort of sleeping disorder, the doctor could help him with a plan to lose weight because that can definitely worsen the problem. I know a lot of overweight people have trouble with snoring that decreases as they lose weight (my dad's weight goes up and down and his snoring gets better when he weighs less).
Hope both of you can manage to get some rest!
