I am hesitating giving away the recipe we use just because it's so good i wanna keep it for myself, but since you are a lasagna lover, I'll share...lol... I love my families way of making lasagna, it is the absolute best I have ever tasted, and I'm wishing I had some right now!!!
What u need:
Lasagna Noodles
1 lb. Italian Sausage
1 lb. Hamburger
1 BIG bottle of spaghetti sauce, or two medium bottles. We usually use Prego Chunky.
1 bag of pepperoni
2 tubs of cottage cheese (2% lowfat)
2 bags Mozzarella Cheese
Parmesan Cheese
Cooking:
1. Boil water for noodles. add 2 tbsp butter.
2. Cook sausage and hamburger together.
3. Put in noodles, stir to keep them from sticking.
4. Drain sausage and hamburger
5. Add spag. sauce to meat, let warm.
6. Strain noodles, take pot off heat, put noodles back in pot.
7. Add 1/2 stick of butter to noodles and stir GENTLY!
8. Layers: First, butter bottom of lasagna pan & pour small layer of meat/sauce.
a. Noodles:approx 3 per layer.
b. Thin layer of meat/sauce
c. Pepperoni: Sparse, approx. 12 per layer.
d. Cottage Cheese: "blobbed" between pepperoni.
e. Mozzarella cheese: thin
Do 2-3 layers, may need two pans for recipe.
Bake 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes, covered with foil.
Take off foil, bake for additional 5 minutes to golden top.
Add Parmesan and let cool!
There you go, a recipe for some guaranteed wonderful tasting lasagna, straight from my family to yours! Hope you enjoy! I also have a recipe for Tuna Noodle Caserole if you want it too...lol

There are tons of recipes on the internet that you can use. I do not like to use a recipe that you have to boil the noodle first, it is very messy! I like to put the hard noodle in the pan and then cover it with tin foil. It will cook and soften as the rest of the dish will cook! It is very easy doing it that way!
