Does anyone have big plans for the Fourth?
I think I am going with my parents to Ohio to meet up with the family for the weekend at my brothers. And I was able to jiggle around my work schedule thanks to a wonderful co-worker switching with me....because I forgot to request off...how spacy of me. LOL
This will be the first time in I'd say about 3-4 years my whole famly was together and I am excited to see all my nephews and niece again. ANd hopefully my cousins from Illinois. ANd know that I do not have to do the cleanup unless I volunteer...last time it was at my house..ugh
So what are you planning for the Fourth? Fireworks and grilling? Gotta have some beer y'all....had to throw that is sorry.

I wish I had the 4th off so I can go see the fireworks and be with friends but I have to work for I am scheduled and I work 3rd shift. I suppose I could go watch a little of the fireworks that start at 9pm-9:15pm and be sure and make it work by 10pm but to have to be taken away from all the fun disappoints me. Alot of people at work have already requested the 4th off and so there for my boss isn't allowing anyone else to take it off. I guess I will just have to see when it comes around what happens. I hope everyone has a good 4th if you have it off.

you must work in the healthcare field....LOL
Yeah I work that day, but luckily someone switched with me so I can go out of twon that weekend to be with my fam.
I ususally work every 4th and in the past when I worked the 2-10p shift I could hear the freworks going off when I took my last break and watched the sky light up and smell the sparks in the air....ahhhhhh

So far I have no plans but I'm hoping something comes up soon! I'll probably be spending it with my daughter and granddaughter watching fireworks at the beach nearby.

No plans much Sugar, I do think we are going to the drive in to see a couple of movies and then see the fireworks show that will be right behind the Drive in at the fair grounds, we will have a perfect seat already. We will probably grill a couple of hamburgers at hom in the afternoon, and slice open a watermelon. But thats it for us nothing fancy or to exciting.

Those are wonderful plans and being with family during the holidays are always a good thing. It will be a while before I can do anything like that. I do hope though that I will have my chance to do that one day soon. Cheers!!

If I don't get to shoot off any fireworks I'll at least throw some poppers on the ground. I'm not sure what we're doing since we travel, but it will be something to celebrate Independence Day.
