Soulmates - why are they so called!!!

have you ever wondered why our partner or husband/wife are also called as SOULMATES? I do not know about you but i guess that they are the most closest to our hearts and souls. And at some point we connect with eachother so well that they have to be calle our soulmates. or another theory can be that everything that we do touches the soul of the other and so we are soulmates! Ah, i should stop thinking about it but you can star thinking and please let me know why soulmates are called soulmates??

I find that when people find their soulmates, they usually like the same things, think the same thoughts and are practically a mirror image. This is not a soulmate, this is boredom.
I think your soulmate would be someone different from you but that has the same morals and values as you do, and is interested in your thoughts and opinions while also having a physical attraction and some interests in common.

I do think you are right in what you say coz you have seen more of life that what i have. Yes it would get monotonous if the two are mirror images , but wouldnt it be good two share the same intrest, in that way one wouldnt have to go against the other at all.Oh well i understand now , you did mention that they should be with the same morals and values.

I think that soul mates are called soul mates bcause that is probably the best way to describe the deep connection which they share.

I think i agree with your point of view. It can also be possible that they are called soulmates because they walk through life's up's and down's together and like you said share the special connection between eachother.
