How do you feel on Sunday Evenings?

For me it's a drag. I just hate thinking about Monday. So I sit at home on my computer and try to savor each moment that I have left of the weekend. Then I screw my Monday up by staying up way to late to savor the time. What do you do?

I know what you mean. Sundays evenings mean you have to prepare for work the next day. I usually give myself a manicure and then read. I then prepare my clothes etc for work.

Yeah, my least favorite part is getting the clothes ready because I have two kids to get ready too.

Work days drag out sooooo long...and the weekends go sooooo fast! How do I feel on Sunday evenings? Frustrated that there are now five working days until the next weekend! On Sundays when I have stayed home all weekend it is not so bad but on Sundays that I have been busy with commitments....ugh...not so good. I too usually stay up too late to savor my night...and you are right...it is really hard to get going on Monday!

Last night was Sunday evening and I was doing pretty much what I usually do on those evenings, I worked on my computer pretty much and I was able to do a lot of work done. My sundays tend to be a lot quieter than the other evenings.

Well, latoyahall, I try to get one simple task done each Sunday. Clean out a drawer, clean the pool, collect shoes and put them away, or something like that. Then, my husband and I get out and about. Today, we went to Panera's for breakfast. Then, I try to read at least some of a book. I almost always surf the internet on Sundays. I do usually cook a good meal. Today, it was jerk turkey tenderloin with black beans and yellow rice. I served avocado salad on the side. Then, I start winding down at about 8:30 or 9 at the latest, to assure I can get to sleep no later than 11 p.m. I often read in bed for the last 30 minutes, which relaxes me. So, there it is. My Sundays. Take care. PearlGrace

Sundays for me seem to drag on as well but not because I hate Mondays. I look forward to a regular routine and there's more people up and about during the weekdays. I guess it's a time for me to reflect about the past week about how I could have done better and also to think about the days ahead and how I could make a fresh start, a new beginning. I just get used to the weekday routine and all of a sudden the week flew by. Sundays are when I do laundry too so it kind of breaks up the monotony, but I do use the computer too so that helps make the day go by more quickly.

Most of the time, I feel sad when its sunday coz it means is going to be monday the next day and its all back to work work and work. Its not the exciting for me. I just try to treasure the moment and enjoy my sunday and try to use it wisely.

Weekend is always the most precious for us.After a week-long hard work,we can finally relax on weekends. But we always complain about the weekend is too short. We usually feel that two working days are as long as a year while the weekend with two days are as short as one minutes.I should cherish this precious time and do my own things. We are too tired now and maybe we can have our own free space only after retirement.
