I was born in the early 80s so at this time but got hooked with the Beatle's songs in the 90s. Yup, just on my primary/elementary days. A classmates brought one of their records to school and before we knew it, we've listening to Beatles music for months. 'Yesterday' and 'Hey Jude' became instant favorites. How about you? How old were you when you heard their song? And no matter what your age was, did you enjoy the songs too?

I think that I have always liked any Beatles songs that I heard - Yellow Submarine and Octopus's Garden are two that were easily found on any 'kid's music' compilations. It was probably when I was 12 or 13 that I really started to listen to, and truly appreciate, the Beatles. A friend of mine had the entire collection of LP's, and we used to come home from school, go to his house and play the albums.

I became a beatle fan about 4 years ago .. (im 18) ... jus swapping through tv, i heard one of their tracks .. Hearin the song, made me curious .. i alrdy knew they are a very popular band, but couldnt understand all the hype. When i stated hearin them .. i fell in love with their music ... even though i can say i hear to John Lennon's solo songs more than Beatle songs .. but i do love them :). My favs are Hey Jude, Let It Be, Maggie May, Elanor Rigby, Sgt Peppers and Revolution .. among many others .. of course.

Hey Jude sounds so simple, and yet it has a great message in it. Long live these classic songs!

This is a great question. Regardless of your age, background or gender. I was 11 yrs.old and I remember it vividly. The song "I Want To Hold Your Hand" was the first one I heard. Memory is some distorted because when they appeared for the first time in the states it was such a huge event. We heard all their new music that was taking over the top 20 songs in the current time. To look back on it now with many years between then and now it's even more astounding because maybe there were other events that had big impact.but The Beatles had to be the most fun and exciting. No one wasn't moved by their mystic. From young to old all were excited to not miss any appearances of new songs. We had run out to get the first album. Everyone did and they also had Beatles wigs that flew off the shelves and a movie "It's a hard days night" They were able to move the mood of every place on earth. I enjoyed their music very much.I wasn't interested in music much at that time.Like the 50's rock & roll. Their movie was the first official "date" I had asked out one of my biggest crushes I had. I was so crazy nervous and thought everything was going to wrong. It didn't it was a perfect time all went well

So Beatles had such a big impact in your life huh? :) Too bad I learned their song when they're already inactive. But then, that's what made them great names in the music industry because their songs continued to live on.
