I have two debit cards, one for my account, and one for mine and my fiances account, and I carry both of them with me at all times,I do not have a credit card, and do not plan on getting one, because they are basically nothing but trouble, and will ruin your credit,if you are not careful.

I prefer to use only 2 credit cards, one VISA and one Mastercard type. Since there are stores which honor one from the other especially in other countries, If you have both, you'll be just fine
I don't really like debit cards as I don't have a month to spare to pay for my billing statement since what you buy is automatically deducted from your funds at that very moment

I have my main credit card then I have a card with only a small amount of credit on it that I use for the internet and it did come in handy one time when over a weekend I put my main card in the teller machine and it didn't come back, so I had my little card to use over that weekend and until the Credit Company issued me a new card as this is what they do when a card gets taken in a non-bank machine...so having two cards saved me...

I don't think credit cards are good for anyone really. We do have two credit cards but we only use them in case of an emergency. I pay them right back off though to avoid all of the high interest they charge when you use it. We do have two debit cards also so we can access our money from our bank account. I have one and my husband has the other one.
