i had surgery. i felt better donating my own blood. i had piece of mind.
if u know that u are going to need to have surgery. do u feel safe using the blood from the bank at the hospital? do u feel safer donating your own blood to having it on standby?

Well I too have had very many surgerys in my life time. I always gave my own blood also. i think it is much better to be safe than sorry. You hear all of these horror storys about how people get blood from those that had aids now days.You never really do know what could be wrong with the people that donate their blood to these blood banks.
