I know that posting links in the discussion is a big violation, you can invite others by telling them to visit your website in your profile, I do this many times. Sometimes I also post my blog site in the discussion, I think this is ok because some other members to this. You have to read for the terms and conditions. Some discussion too that had been posted twice will be deleted, I did this before I posted 2 same discussion and the other day it was gone.

It is not against tos of mylot to promote your blog. but don't response to evry discussion about your blog. post only when it is necessary. no links on discussions.
For promoting your blog there is a good option in mylot . SUBMIT your blog to mylot. you will get exposure for your blog in mylot.
best of luck

I saw a discussion with a link to the thread-owner's blog. I really don't have any idea if that is legal. I'll try to read on the TOS and see if that is a violation. I'll update you about this. But for now, my suggestion is not to put links in your discussion. Just a precautionary method.
