do women prefer their husband to be taller than them ?

one of my friend told me that women would prefer their husband taller than them. i don't know why, can any women or men tell their view about this.if this true then it is bad for me as i am a short man.

I wanted my partner to be taller than me. It's just a preference, not absolute. There are plenty of women who don't care or some who even prefer shorter men.
How tall are you? My husband is considered "short" for a man, but he's still much taller than me. He's 5'8-9" and I'm 5'2".

well i am actually 5'0'' that is i am shorter than u. as i am short i have a feeling of insecure or nervousness when talking to women who are taller than me. i think that is not good for me either for having this inferiors sort of habit

Well, like I said, it's personal preference. Just accept yourself and others will accept you.
I think both of my mother's husbands were shorter than her.

It's not bud to be a short man. Yes women prefer men taller than them but the most important thing is what's in your heart. It's your attitude and your way of reasoning that women often look to men, no matter what they look like...

Women tends to like men taller than them but it doesn't make us, short guys to be left in the race... There more taller guys but less love in their hearts, though we are short, we still have a space for a big heart inside. God bless us. LOVE MATTERS MORE THAN THE HEIGHT BROTHER

I think it is just a preference for most women that feel that they want a man that is taller than them. To be honest, it was actually my preference as well until I met my current fiance. He is a little bit shorter than me and he captured my heart. His height makes no difference to me and I wouldn't want him any other way. What is in the inside is what counts the most.
