Do you get much time to read now?

I too am very busy with my job nowadays that I hardly ever get the time to read. But I always make sure there is some reading stuff in my bag when I am travelling so that I can catch up with some reading at that time.

hi subha! i love to read to. i like suspense, thriller and adventure novels. i have a lot of time recently for reading. i started to read again when i got a hold of an Anne Rice novel. it was in good timing because i went to a training and there wasn't any form of entertainment there and i was thankful that i brought along that book. it kept me entertained for a few days. then after that, i had a lot of free time at the office because my boss weren't around for a few days. i was able to read the other book that i bought which was written by John Grisham. it rekindled my interest in reading books so i bought two books again which were by Stephen King and John Grisham again. i'm currently reading Stephen King's Book and i read it during free time at the office, usually during lunch time and when my book is absent or after she had gone home. are you reading a particular book right now?

There are three factors which are preventing me from reading like I used to. During college days, I used to read curricular and extra-curricular for more than 6 hours a day and now due to pressure on my business work, I hardly spend 30 to 40 minutes.

I don't read books now. I always search online what I want to know and read. I have a small inspirational book which I read when I feel so down and truly it uplifts me.I wish to be having more books and have more time to read. I know it would be different to keep going with this habit, it will always bring something wonderful in our lives, we can lie down while reading, we can bring it anywhere we want unlike if laptop and PC, we are more exposed to radiation.

Yeah, no time..thats the problem, even i love to read absolutely, all kinds of books and novels. But due to hectic life schedule,its no where to read a book

One can always find time for activities they love doing - and so do I - I just make time for reading, esp for reading of a more challenging type than for daily perusal of a newspaper. Reading is one of the best ways out to keep ourselves intellectually alive, how do I say no to it.

I have never been much of a reader. I have a hard time remembering what I have read also. I work seven days per week for many hours and do not have a whole lot of time to read anyway. I have to have peace and quiet when I read also and that is very hard to come by alot of times.

I also love reading... but nowadays... i simply do not have the time to get a book and read it... i live with my baby... and i don't have anyone to help me with the household chores... other than that... i work everyday... and my only form of relaxation is watching dvd when my baby is already asleep at night...

If you are talking about reading a book, I barely remember when was the last time I have read one. I have been busy at work and when I am not at work I am on the internet surfing and forum posting. I am also starting up with earning money online like blogging and data entry. That is why I have not read books anymore.

I like reading very much,but just as you said it seems we don't have much time to read. But I read as long as I have time.

yeah..me too.....often i do it in a minute before going to sleep .....it can't be deny the fact that reading is really a bIg HElp in continuing to gain Learning as life goes on..day By day.... +jam+ ~live life~ keep it simple**

Hie Subha, I don't get to read so much as I used to when I was younger and that is in the reading materials of books, newspapers and magazines. I could almost read anything that could be read...lol. But now my only option is the internet and not too much on the books that I like. So I think reading should not be considered just for the books, newspaper, etc. And I believe if everyone are able to spend hours mylotting in here, I am pretty sure they could surf up some interesting stuff they like and read, it does add up to some reading in some point :) What do you think?
