... we can count the number of weeks in a year when our family is complete again. This only happens when he returns home for vacation. Most of the time, he's away from us even on special occasions like Christmas, New Year and each of our birthdays. It had been sad but we've accepted the fact that he has to work overseas to make ends meet for our family. Because of this, I have decided that if I'll have a family, I'd want my husband to be with us. I know that my father's intentions are good, but I have also experienced how it was to grow up with an absentee father (not that he really wanted it). Anyone among you who had the same thoughts?
