How did you decide to start Homeschooling?

For any homeschooling families, how did you decide to start homeschooling? Was there a specific incident or did you decide before your children were even in school?

My daughter started doing homeschool cause she was having problems at her school.. with other kids..she did great with the home school though.. and Graduated from there :)
