Legal Help for the Accident Happend

Hello mylotters, I hope some1 could help about my friends problem. This is the story, we are send by our company here in other country where my friend got an accident. While driving his bike going to church at that time a huge accident happened his upper and lower jaw was broken. Here is my question, the mom of my friend want to go here to assist her son but our company did not approved her request. Is it legal, that our company does not grant the request of my friend's mother? Besides my mother's friend are willing to pay for her own just to be here. I hope someone could help.
