Most people think that a person is only considered as a student if he/she is enrolled in a school or he/she is learning things from a mentor or a teacher. This is what I thought before. But then i realized that being a student doesn't end after day, or after getting your certificate or diploma. Learning simply doesn't end, and so does being a student. According to the Wikipedia Encyclopedia, the word student is used for anyone who is learning. This simply means that from the day we learned the ABC up until the day we die, as long as we keep on learning, then we are considered to be a student. As long as we keep on discovering new things, or as long as some knowledge are being imparted on us in any ways possible, we will always be considered as a student. And I believe that we will remain to be a student for as long as we live. Lucky are we because we get to study in a good school or university. Lucky are we for our parents or loved ones are able to sustain our needs for good education. Lucky are we for we are able to pursue our chosen profession, something we only used to dream about when we were young. But I think we can be luckier if we choose to keep on learning and broaden our knowledge for as long as we can. I believe that we can learn a lot more through reading, listening, watching and excahnging thoughts with other people. there are so many things in this world taht can help us continue learning, things that will keep us as a student for a lifetime.
