"Certificate" an obvious fake!

Fight the smears.com (an Obama damage control website) has recently published what they say is a copy of Barack Obama's birth certificate. Baloney! First and foremost about this obvious fake is the lack of a Dr. signature. Next is the modern "internet-like" design of the certificate. This is not his birth certificate so the search goes on!

Obama was born in Honolulu. This is a matter of public record--notice how even the McCain campaign isn't willing to make a claim so obviously false as "the certificate is forged". Give this tired smear a rest. The ironic part is that McCain is the one of the two who wasn't born in the US--he was born in Panama.

I said nothing about McCain being ineligible to run, so saying that Panama was part of the US before makes no difference. Just pointing out the irony in this Obama smear. It's funny, really.

ClarusVisum, McCain is within the law of being a US citizen. I have seen it on many blogs. I assure you the issue of Obama's citizenship, or lack thereof, will be brought up in the campaign at one point or another, if not by Hillary at the DNC in August, then by McCain at some point after Obama has been declared the Democratic candidate. He will be required to provide proof of his citizenship, make no mistake about it.

Why does it matter? He was born in 1961 in Hawaii, Hawaii became a state in 1959. So he's a natural born citizen. I don't see why his birth certificate (or your opinion of what it should look like) even matters. Additionally, information on birth certificates changes from state to state. (As well as what's on the certificate.) But once again, since he was born in Hawaii in 1961 it doesn't matter because Hawaii was already a state.

"I'll tell you why, the man has something to hide and it will come out I promise you!" He's been hiding something since he was born? WOW! If he's that exceptional, for sure I want him to be President! Annie

IF he was born in Hawaii then WHY does he not disclose the original birth certificate WITH the number not obliterated so it can be investigated and proven right or wrong? I'll tell you why, the man has something to hide and it will come out I promise you!

The followers of the 'Obamanation' claim it is a 'certification' of the Obamanation's birth. That's sort of a 'copy'. However, note the sequential certification number is blacked out? That would allow someone to check the orginal. Can't have that, now, can we?

Even if the Obama camp produced a real birth certificate it could still be a forged documents. It is the Democrat party we are talking about here! I love the Obamoronics they would rather believe a lie than to believe the truth. That website that is suppose to be an anti-smear website is actually a smear website. Look at how the website blatantly lies about Rush Limbaugh. Folk Rush did not create the Whity rumor, Bob Buckle a Democrat created the rumor.

Hello Sir Rodney, The release of this copy does not satisfy my curiosity either. To be fair, the certificate does appear exactly as a 'copy' of a birth certificate would appear, except for the obvious omissions of a raised seal stamp, and a visible certificate number. As I explained in another recent discussion about the birth certificate: Hubby & I requested official copies of our birth certificates for our passports. We also requested originals from our respective families. We ended up getting both. We were both born in the 1960s, a similar time frame to Obama. There is a vast difference between the way the actual hospital birth certificate appears, and the appearance of an official copy of a birth certificate. If Obama cannot produce the original hospital or birth certificate, then he MUST produce a copy that does not have the certification number blacked out. That number represents the only means to confirm the authenticity of the certificate. Without that certificate number, there is no way to prove that this birth certificate was not fabricated (created) on Nov 6 2007 -- which is the date-stamp of the date that the 'copy' was produced. Let us not forget that beurocratic officials have a long history of corruption or 'bribe-ability' in this country, as well across the globe. We've seen numerous state Motor Vehicle departments tangled up in criminal fraud -- for producing fake IDs for illegal immigrants. We've seen beurocratic officials with the Border Patrol tangled up in criminal proceedings for bribe-ability in diverting illegal aliens back to LA, instead of deportation facilities. As such, it would be naive to believe that someone at the Honolulu County Clerks Office could not have been bribed to create a birth certificate -- after the fact. Obama must re-release the certificate with the certificate number visible to the blogging public. Otherwise, I fully support whatever 'dogging' effort will likely ensue to get to the bottom of this issue! There is simply no viable reason to have witheld that certificate number, unless Obama's team believed there was something to conceal from the public!!! As such, Obama is himself responsible for the firestorm that has occurred as a result of this issue. SHAME ON YOU OBAMA, FOR NOT BEING FORTHCOMING AND HONEST!!!

Again, LadyLuna, you have stated this much more eloquently than I could ever hope to! As for your last line, I believe it falls on deaf ears since he and his followers believe him to be blameless and therefore shameless!

Most people will not look any further than this though. They see an image and are content to say it is a fact. There are any number of sources to get blank documents that can be made to look official... as you said, their is no signature, nor a registration number... which makes the whole thing meaningless.

This election has really made me see the American public in a new light. I had no idea that we had so many people who hate the Republicans so much that they would blind themselves to the person Obama is. They can be shown anything that puts Obama in a positive light, and they buy it. Most cannot even speak/write about him without blubbering over themselves. They are so defensive. They don't know this man. There is so much we don't know. Whatever he says they believe. And since his wife thinks Americans are so mean and nasty maybe we should kindly give them them their own state and they can take their followers with them.

I'm afraid it has absolutely nothing to do with "hate" for the Republicans. I don't "hate" John McCain but I don't want him to be my President, I don't want him to determine who the next several Supreme Court Justices will be, I don't want him to be the one to answer the phone at 3 AM because, quite frankly, I don't think he's competent to handle our foreign policy. I don't want him to extend the horror of the past 7 1/2 years under George W. Bush, arguably the worst President in our history. You can make up all the lies you want or pick through every little detail, parse every sentence and I'm still not going to want McBush as our next President. Annie

Annie, you should look at who's talking! Go and see the post after post this lady has posted that shows how much she hates Obama. From lies about her mother to lies about his wife. There is actually an instance where someone points out a discrepancy in a statement she made and she responds that she doesn't care. Look through all the postings on mylot and see if you can find any instance where anybody has attacked John McCain's personality. The reason why she turns around to accuse you of being hateful is that it is infuriating when someone accuses you of something negative about themselves. And that is what these people love. They like war so they begin by starting a war of words. They can't win by fair means so they attack with lies. Even McCain himself has suffered this kind of attacks before. When he ran against Bush in 2000, the Republicans lied that he had an illegitimate child. Yet, I don't hate them. I'm just mad at them. This is not a good time for Americans to hate each other. There are already people out there who hate this country. That is why these lies make me mad.

I have said this before but it bears repeating. I think I will expand upon past statements though. I would never, ever place on a public forum my original birth certificate without blacking out the certificate number. That number can be used for nefarious purpose. Even were I running for public office I would black this out. I would also not publish my passport without blacking out the passport number. I would also not publish my drivers licsense without blacking out the number. I would also never publish my social security number. All of the above are forms of personal identification. They can be used to steal identification. They can be used to create new identities. They should never be published in public forums. For anyone who belives that Obama has not provided the appropriate proofs of his right to serve as a Senator of the United States or as President of the United States to the appropriate security officials, show your proof of this oversight. I don't believe that this is the truth but would be happy to examine your "proof" of these rumors for their veracity. Now to another statement regarding Birth Certificates and their appearance. I have two of them, both certified. One of them is has my adopted mother and fathers names on them. It was issued a year and three days after my actual birth when my adoption became finalized. It is not signed by a doctor it is signed by a judge. It has my real birth date on it. It has my adopted parents names on it. It has the name of the hospital I was born in on it. It has the real time of birth on it. If I did not know that I was adopted there is no way I would have known that this was not my real birth certificate or that the sequence number was off. My other birth certificate was sealed when my adoption was finalized. It says "Baby Girl" and my biological mothers last name. It lists my biological mother and my biological father. It lists my race differently than my race is listed on my other birth certificate. It is not signed except by an attending nurse. It lists me as illegitimate. It has a different serial number obviously. Of course the date, time, and hospital are all listed. I received this one when I had the files opened in my twenties. Needless to say it was interesting to compare the two. There is some question as to whether Obama's parents were legally married. So what. If you read his birth certificate, it seems they were likely not married. Again, I say so what. The fact is that his mother was an American citizen that makes him an American Citizen. Doesn't really matter where he was born, he is an American. He spent most of of his life in America, all but 4 or 5 years in fact; he is American. He spent most of his life in Christian schools. Get over all the rumor mongering and BS. Don't like his politics? Fine attack his positions. Have a debate on the relevant issues of the day. Stop the nonesense about his religion and whether he is Arab or Black or White...who really cares it isn't relevant.

I just had to tell you, Ivaldean, I agree with you completely, you put it so perfectly! It's all BS, isn't it? I don't know if they don't know how to debate on Obama's positions, if they simply haven't taken the time to find out what they are or what. It's incredible to me how all of a sudden everyone is an analyst, a psychologist or a psychic so they know which of all the phony e-mail forwards are "fact" and they know exactly what someone means by what they say, whether the person who said it agrees with it or not. Some of them think if they claim to know it all that makes it so; they love to intimidate others by posting link after link, believing we'll think that if they have the many links to post they really must have done their research so of course they know more than we do! It's obvious that if there were anything "fishy" about Obama's birth certificate we'd have known about it a long time ago! He's a U.S. Senator, he's gotten security clearances to visit Iraq and other sensitive areas of the world. OK, I'm done with my rant for this hour! Annie

Yeah, I say the same things over and over. It is just so strange that the issue isn't whether he will raise taxes and on who he will raise taxes. The issue isn't whether his health care plan has merit. It isn't whether his middle eastern plan has merit, or his diplomacy plan has merit, or his economic plan has merit .... No it is none of those things. It is whether he is Black enough. It is whether he is White enough. It is whether he might be really an Arab instead. It is whether he attended a Madrassa,he did. Madrassa=School in Arabic It is whether he is Muslim. He is not. His biological father was but he was not in his life and did not become a practicing Muslim until much later in his life anyway. Further it is believed by most people who knew Barack Sr. that the primary reason he became a "practicing" Muslim was political expediency. His step-father was also a non-practicing Muslim who smoked and drank and only ocassionally attended Mosque. It is whether he is Christian enough. Or that he isn't the right kind of Christian. Who gets to decide this anyway? That he is to Liberal. Has anyone really checked his record? First year as a Senator he supported President Bush 47% of the time. Second year as a Senator he supported President Bush 40% of the time. He is really pretty much in the middle. Hardly the flaming Liberal the right want to paint him. Just wish people would do some fact checking and then actually debate the issues. What is so difficult about that. One of my favorite places www.politifact.com

Guess what you couldn't find mine either. Legal birth certificates are certainly not a matter of public record while a person is still living. Get the rules of the game right! As for his stand on Abortion. That is his and millions of others as well. That is a issue that many people would be willing to debate you on. While I might disagree with you that it is political issue it has certainly become one.

If the certicate is a fake, nothing would be blacked out. It would be custom-made to exclude what has been blacked-out.

Where did all this fascination for seeing his birth certificate come from anyway? What are you implying? That his mother knew he would run for President one day so she hurried to Hawaii to get a fake birth certificate? Do you even see how silly this all seems? Annie

Look at your birth certificate and tell me, does it have the delivery doctor's signature? And on the blacked out number, WHY? Nothing can be gained by Obama if he blocks this number as it is the only link to authenticity! He only puts the entire document in question when he blacks out the number!
