The U.S. Remake of "Death Note"

If you haven't heard, a U.S. remake of "Death Note" is going to be made. I'm actually horrified, & really don't want it to happen. The Jpn. live-action was good enough! And I'm also worried about the actors they'll hire...really, no one can play L like Kenichi can!
But anyways, what do you think of it?

I did hear about this a while back and was properly horrified. My initial reaction was that they are going to screw it up like a lot of the other remakes. I'll still watch it when it comes out but I'm not going to have high expectations for it. Hopefully it's not as bad as that Dragonball movie.

They will totally destroy it. Just like they'll do with Dragon Ball and Akira:(
