I love digging information of my ancesors. I have one ancessor with qbout 14 generations. Anyone have any idea of the best sites to get the info. the sites I know is genealogy.com accessories.com

genesreunited is the best. You can upload your tree in gedcom format so others can see it, and also communicate with other users. For a $20 membership for 6 months you can see other peoples trees and compare matches with other people. You can also purchase credits to use for looking at national databases, it might be a bit UK orientated though.

I have a family tree maker loaded in my computer and I record stuff there. I never heard of Genesreunited. That's new to me. Thanks though.

I use Ancestry.com and Familysearch.org quite a bit. I also post on and check posting on Genforum.com and the message boards on the Ancestry website.

I use the Genforum alot. With that site I had lot of information given to me. I even met some of them too. It was great!
