Use softwares like Registry cleaner, Tuneup utilities which cleans your system and Defragments your drives and make your Computer work at Rocket speed.
Use simple antiviruses like Nod32 which doesn't make much of processing and ram effort and doesn't effect in slowing the Computer.

i am using that but there is a very littel change in my speed
my comuter works like a computer having 256 ram
but in real my computer is having 1.5 gb ram
that is 1 gb in 1 slot and 2 512mb in the another slot
but i cant find the drestic changes

well, a high speed processor and a big ram will surely increase your computer performance.

i whant to ask too ... in past when i buy a computer, btw. its intel p4 3.0, he has only 512MB of ram, so i some time after that i buy another 512MB of ram to get my speed a litle bit higher but still i doesnt see any difference ... so my question will be ... do i need to buy 1GB of ram more so the changes will be seen then :?

After sorting out your anti-virus and firewall..Also run a disk cleanup that you find in system tools on your PC.
Remove applications you last used ages ago especially those that you can now download free online..
Remove pictures and audio files that you do not use everyday and put them onto CDs.
Run desktop clean up wizard and remove unused programme icons from start up so start up can run quicker.

If you can't buy new ram to upgrade,and your stuck with what you have. Then keep it clean and defrg it frequently. Go to IObit.com and a free program will help alot,download the Advanced Windows Care beta3, it's one of the best free programs there is! Give it try and you should notice a difference. tdemex

you can do these things to speedup your PC
1)uninstall unwanted application
2)Virus protection scan your disk completely
3)Defragment your hard disk
4)Don't overload your disk, leave some space
5) Allocate some 1GB of cache memory
6)If you are using Norten its too heavy it will take much space of your RAM and your procesing speed will go down.

To increase the speed of computers,you must have a high GB of RAM.So,increase the ram of your computer.Like mine..its 2 GB Ram..its just fine for my usage at home.
Im not sure whether virus will effect it or not.=)
