how to block images from showing in the website i visit?

guys, i am using 3g for my internet connections and i am having trouble in my connections. it is too slow because of the images being downloaded by the browser. Can can prevent this images from viewing?

Using Opera browser (available in Mobile phone call Opera Mini) can block image from all site. Using other browser/software to online I don't know how to. Sorry.

its okay.. anyway thanks for sharing your ideas and knowledge.. I am using firefox.. and having trouble to block those images and by the way i used the my 3G as a modem of my computer.. Anybody knew the solutions...
