Mylot is a global community. Its members come from all over the world. We know nothing about each other. Can you introduce yourself, so that we get to know you ?
I am from Malaysia. I am retired from a fishing industry. I worked in Africa, Madagascar and Vietnam in the past ten years.
In Malaysia, most of the people can speak a few types of language, such as Malay, English, Chinese, Tamil...In addition I can speak some Malagasy, Swahili, French. Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese. I learnt these languages while I was working during the past ten years.
Can you introduce yourself , so that we get to know you a little more ?

I'm from Canada. I just graduated from college for Graphic Design but I'm thinking about going back again to take Early Childhood Education so I can teach children. I speak English, obviously, and a tiny tiny bit of French and Spanish because I took them in school.

thanks for sharing.
In this internet-era, if you are interested in learning other languages, it's easy. Even in mylot, you too can learn many languages if you want. I think many mylotters are willing to help you.

I too think that MyLot members should interact more with each other, have some enjoyable time as well along with making some money. Malaysia has many races such as Malay , Chinese, Indian (mainly Tamil )... I have some friends who are Tamil-origined. I learnt from them. I speak a little Gujerati, I learnt from my friends while working In Madagascar and Tanzania. Most of the Indians there speak Gujerati.

Hi
My name is Sharlene and I live in a city called Mandurah which is on the coast of Western Australia. I am single and have a dog called Misty. I work in a large shopping centre as a retail assistant (associate) at a store called Big W. I love my work as everyday I am doing something different and am doing many jobs at once. I like working in the service desk and on checkouts.
When I was 17 I woke up one day to find that I had lost all of my hearing and I now wear a hearing aid and I use sign language to communicate. The only other language that I know how to speak is Engish.
I drive my car everywhere and if I need to go to the major city of Perth I catch the train.
I have just moved house closer to town and I have gone from a 1 bed unit to a 2 bed unit which is really nice.
Hoping to get to know you more
Sharlene
