I was on a different site and someone posted a link for free rice. www.freerice.com is a site where you answer questions (definitions of english words). For every correct answer you donate 20 grains of rice to needy people. It has sponsers which pay for the rice. A couple of minutes each day can feed a child.

Thank you very much for posting this site, this will really help a lot of starving people. I wasnt aware of this site, and to think my country, Philippines, is one of their beneficiaries. I looked at their site and Philippines is included, they said that they would be helping out Mindanao, where more than 50% of the population lives below the poverty line of 60 cents/person/day. I cant imagine how people could live with 60 cents a day, but if my very uncorrupt government says its possible, let it be. I'll be e-mailing this to the rest of my friends. Again, thank you very much!

I'm so glad that posting this link has spread the word to so many people. I don't know how people love on so little. We couldn't pay all our bills on $60 each day, let alone 60 cents. I hope lots of people log on and play for as long as possible to feed the poor.

That is a really excellent site. I really like the fact that you are helping people and improving your vocabulary skills at the same time. I think you did a good thing by posting the link even though we arent really supposed to post links here on my lot, plenty of people do.

I thought that we only couldn't post links to rival sites, but then I really didn't fully read the rules and regulations thing. I hope that a lot of people see this site and help for as much or as little time that they have free.

No, it's not much, but in 30 minutes you can donate a lot. My husband and I did over 2000 grains in about 20 minutes this evening.

i think that this is a really great idea i have already told someone about this and she said that she would look at it and i have looked at it and i think that i am going to do it because it is for a good cause and it seems like it is worth it to just answer a few questions...thanks for the link and i will try and email it to a few people for them to do it too so we can try and get more accomplished because i really do think that this is a good thing and a good way to help people who are needy...so thanks again and have a great day!

That's so great. The more people that participate the fewer children that go hungry. There is so little that some of us can do, that finding a charity that needs only our brains and our time is a God-send.
