How do you give support to a friend in the hospital when they are going into a kidney operation. One of thier Kidneys and tube that goes to it is double in size because of blockage. They are going Friday and Sat another friend of mine of theirs is going to go see them in order to see that they come out of the operation well because friday night they will be to worn out. I cant make it to go see them in the hospital becuase of the fact that I will be out of state, because i travel so much and i have this scheduled from a month ago and i cant cancel.

Prayers and words of encouragement are the best support you can give if you cannot be with that person going through the op. Give your friend a call before the op and let them know you are thinking of them and will be praying for them throughout the operation. It helps to know that family or friends are with them all the way into the operation room, though not physically.

bel6hy above has given you a lot of great answers and I agree with them.
Just to add, try giving them your picture of something that would remind them of you. something sort of a friendship necklace or a bracelet would be nice. It would also be nice to write them a get-well letter.
