do you have a good 'upper' referral?

Hi Friends, I think this is the first time I found such kind of upper referral (did I mention it correctly?). I was signing up a certain paid to search program back then, and even forgotten about where I did know about this program before. But later to my surprise, my upper greeted me in email (and I suddenly remembered, "ah yes, that's my upper!") and the person said "thank you" for signing up as the person's referral, and sometimes also sent me background information about the program, the payment proof, and also shared me some tips about how to search properly to increase earning better and not violate the program's term / rules. I think it is interesting to have this kind of good upper. This is the first time I have found such upper. Do you have similar experience like this, having your upper contacted you and gave you tips, suggestions and advices and also encouragements?
