That verizon bought allte?
Well, that's all the cell phone companies that work in my area so I now have no choice about who I go with. It will be verizon or verizon evidently.
Some companies are getting so huge. Do you think this is good? Or is it becoming a monopoly?

You could always sign up for Virgin Mobile. I have a pre-paid plan with VM and have no complaints about them whatsoever :)
Sounds like Verizon is trying to gobble up the competition, alright.

Virgin mobile is not offered in my area.
Verizon & alltel are the only 2.
