Have you or your friends ever bitten by a dog??

A dog bit my baby 2 years ago and I kicked that dog so hard I thought that I killed it. I was so angry. I took my baby to the Dr. and she was fine. The scar is gone thank goodness.

I was not only bitten, but was completely attacked by a huge German Shephard. It was terrifying, he pinned me up against a wall, grabbed on to my hand and proceeded to try and rip it off my body. All I could do was just scream, and scream, and the owner came running out and got the dog off of me. I was lucky he grabbed my hand, it could have been my neck. I was 15 years old at the time and I still have a very prominent scar on my and from the incident. I also had to have a rabbis shot! This is not an experience I ever want to have repeated. But I don't take that out on all dogs. I still love dogs. I just know if the dog is agresive looking you really need to stay away from the area where that dog is. Also any dog with out an owner near by should be avoided.

I have not bitten by any dog and don't know anyone close to me had encounter such accident. I had several experience meeting strange and big dogs but I always stop when they will start barking, look at them and pretend I am not scared...Then try to be friend by calling them in a doggy way...I have heard from my relatives that when the dog will feel that you are scared and want to run, the more they will attack you. SO far, it works for me pretending that I am not scared..LOL!

I was, though it was my fault. I was young and my aunt had this dashound. The dashound was not found of kids, we figure it had been abused since it was adopted from the pound.

I'm afraid of dogs, when I'm 10 yrs old my friends and I were running and playing at the street and 2 dogs run after me but I run fast lol they didn't bit me.

Yes! I have been bitten multiple times by my own pets or by one belonging to a family member. I was bitten once while on the job. A ladie's dog jumped to back of her van where I was loading a t.v. The lady was so freaked out that she jumped in her van and drove off. I ended up in the E.R. that day. I really wasn't worried other than that I needed a tetenus booster and I had to take antibiotics. I bounced right back and I am not afraid. Dogs usually have a fairly good reason to react the way that they do. I just give strange dogs their space.

I have never been bitten by a dog, though many people I know have. I always watch my kids so carefully around dogs because I just don't trust them. My husband's dog bit him when he was old and crabby and he was a dog that "wouldn't ever hurt a fly"...hubby has also been bitten by his customer's dog because those people wouldn't lock their dog up.

i have never been bitten by a dog either but my husband has several times. he got bit by his mom's doberman once on his hand and the dog would not let go. he had to grab something hard and hit the dog on head in order for him to let go. his injury was pretty deep and he has the scar to prove it. he got bit several other times but i do not recall the circumstances but do remember that the dog was a german shepard. i am afraid of dogs for the most part, especially large dogs so i tend not to get too close.

When I was little I had a chow and I was petting it one day when It was sleeping. It growled but I didnt understand and I kept petting. Soon the chow bit me on the face. It didnt hurt it just mostly shocked me. My mother had the dog put to sleep and I was sorely depressed. But that was years ago.

Hello, I almost came close to being bite by a yorkie at my grams . That dang dog chased me all over the porch and thankfully my dad caught me and picked me up. My brother was bite by a dog who broke off his leash when going for a walk . Got bite right on the bum, but nothing major. Rabies is one thing you have to worry about with wild dogs.

I've been bitten by my own dog many times. She's a very assertive breed. She usually bites most when we have a differece of opinion. You know like, she thinks she should have that splintered chicken bone she dragged from the trash and I don't. We're learning to see eye to eye but I still have a few scars.

I had never been bitten by dog but I had been chased by a groups of dogs.Fortunately,I was on a bike then,otherwise,I would certainly bitten by these dogs.You know,those dogs were ferocious and potent so I have to fear these big dogs even now.Once you are facing the same situation,I think the best way is keep clam first and then find good chance to escape.

In defense of dogs, they are what people make them. I have been bitten several times mostly for doing dumb things around the dogs so it was entirely my fault.

yes i was bitten buy pit bull terrier and i got bitten on my arm it was painful i had to get medication for it i never want to go througth that ever again

I have never been bitten by a dog thankgod. A friend of mine has a son that was 12 and he would come over to his fathers house on the weekends. I used to live there as well as a roommate. There were people upstairs from us that had a nakita dog and this dog would charge at you full speed while being chained. It was the most scariest thing all teeth and growl and bark at you. One day I was in my bed room and my friends son went outside to do what ever and his father was in the liveing room. The next thing I know I hear this screaming and crying. His father and I come raceing out of the rooms that we were in and into the kitchen where his son sat in a chair bleeding really bad. I ran to grab some towels and his father called for an ambulence. His son was taken to the hospital and given 8 stiches in his leg from this dog biteing him. I guess there have been many complaints on this one particular dog for the police showed up and ended up tranquiling the dog and takeing him in to have him put to sleep. The owner of the dog AL was all upset and tried to fight it but he lost the battle. I was relieved when they said the dog was getting put to sleep for I feared my life just to walk out my front door every day and that dog would see me and instant charge he would come. I'm glad to know that his son was ok and everything healed ok to. I don't fear dogs but I am cautiouse of them til I know they are going to be ok with me after seeing this tragic accident of my friends son.

i have been bitten by our dog when i was young. i was caught offguard and didn't know whether to scream or cry. but, tears were streaming down my face as the dog crunched on my armpit. my uncle called the pound and had our dog taken away. until now, am still traumatized by it.

No !! being bitten by dog is really horrible as like what you said, needing dozens and dozens of injection to prevent rabies. I never been bitten by a dog though :) The first thing relating this topic to my mind is the nobita in doraemon who used to be bitten by wild dogs.

No I have never been bitten by a dog before my sister has though it was craaazy. I've always been afraid of that happeneing though
