I disagree. The more knowledge you gain, the better your decision will be because it is based on more information. Robert Mugabe consulted his Minister of 'Defense' and the Minister of Propanganda as to what to do about the people showing support for the Movement for Democratic Change in Zimbabwe, and look what happened there. If he had the opinion og the rest of the world, he would have acted differently if he was willing to listen. You cannot base a decision on one or two peoples opinion, because they could very well be incorrect. It is up to you to not get confused when faced with many opinions and have the patience to gain as much knowledge from others as possible and analysis their opinions - because some are worse remembering and others are nonsense. By your standards, because 2 people have responded to your post, thats all the opinoins you need, so you'd have to take my advice wouldn't you?
