are you more comfortable with the mouse

Yes,you are right. I too,feel comfortable using a mouse though I can use the touch pads.In fact,to me using the mouse is a habit.

Yes,i do felt the same as you.After a long time with the built in mouse pad.I prefers the normal mouse to work on with my lappy.Its a bit faster rather than the one on the laptop.Sometimes,i want changes..at certan time,i love to use the mouse and at times,i just get the laptop alone..hehe!

I bought my first laptop last year and the man who sold it to me said I may want to buy a mouse to use with it rather than using the touch pad. I said I would try the laptop before I decided on buying a mouse. I find the touchpad so easy to use and I have full control of the cursor when I use it. I defininitely would not want to buy a mouse now. It is an individual choice, of course, and many people may prefer a mouse, but I touch type without looking at my keyboard and I can use the touchpad without having to look at it too.

I buy a laptop about 4 years ago and changed to a new one 1 year ago. For the two laptops I only use them on my desk and rarely take them out. I buy a wireless mouse with each of my laptop, and I only use the touch pad when the power of the mouse run up and it is a very short time. If I take my laptop out or use it on the plane, I think I will have to use the touch pad. Of course, mouse is easier to use for me. But my roommate used to use touch pad and when she uses my laptop, she will use the touch pad, although there is a mouse by her hands. It is just a habit. And if you are familiar with something, you are not willing to change it.

I am also using the laptop and never be comfortable with the touch pad. I am using mouse attached with it from the day one. Otherwise with out a mouse I can not work faster in my laptop

yeah , i bought my USB mouse right after i bought my laptop , using mouse is much faster , easier for control

i'm better with mouse.. but there is a time, i forgot to bring home my mouse, then i've to use touch pad.. quite ok,but need a lot of practise...
